Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has turned down a hefty €75 million offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, choosing instead to keep his options open within European football.
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on his X account, “Despite agreement between club to club with Napoli for €75m fee, Osimhen says no to the Saudi Pro League club. Galatasaray will insist on signing him with the race now open again.”
Osimhen’s impressive performances have made him a key figure in both Napoli’s and Galatasaray’s recent successes. He played an instrumental role in Napoli’s Serie A title triumph during the 2022/23 season and helped Galatasaray secure a domestic double during his loan spell in Turkey. With 37 goals in 41 appearances, the 26-year-old striker has become a fan favorite at Galatasaray.
Linked with several European clubs, including those in the Premier League and Serie A, Osimhen is reportedly taking his time to evaluate the best sporting project before making his next move.
