A four-storey building under construction collapsed on Oremeta Street in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State on Saturday morning, trapping several individuals under the debris. The structure, which housed the popular EqualRight Restaurant on its ground floor, collapsed around 8:00 a.m., catching both occupants and passersby off guard.
Emergency response teams, including the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), fire service personnel, and security operatives, swiftly arrived at the scene to commence rescue operations. As of now, the exact number of casualties remains unknown, but authorities are working diligently to rescue those trapped and provide medical assistance to the injured.
